Cornelius Dupré
Mr. Dupré is the Chairman of Dupré Interests, a private equity family office, and has served in that capacity since its founding in 2004. He is also the Chairman of Dupré Energy Services, which encompasses several energy industry service companies, including KSW Solids Controls, Pro-Tek Field Services and Diversified Safety & Scaffolding. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Foundation Energy, Hoover Circular Solutions, Wellbore Fishing and Rental Tools, JVL Global Energy, & Dynamic Chemical Solutions. Prior to these activities, Mr. Dupré served as co-owner and Chairman of Venture Transport & Logistics; as Senior Vice President/CSO National Oilwell, Inc.; as founder, Chairman and CEO of Dupré Companies, which merged with National Oilwell, Inc. in July 1999; and founder and Board member of Energy XXI.
Mr. Dupré belongs to or is active in a number of energy industry groups, as well as charitable and community organizations, including: Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Petroleum Institute, Independent Petroleum Association of America, International Association Drilling Contractors, Louisiana Oil and Gas Association, Texas Independent Producers & Royalty Owners Association, National Association of Corporate Directors, National Ocean Industries Association, Houston Producers Forum, Western Energy Alliance, The Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, Spindletop Charities, Sky High for Kids benefitting St. Jude’s and the Dupré Family Foundation.
Mr. Dupré received a Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctor degree from Louisiana State University. He also has a Master of Business Administration degree from Northeastern University.
Brad Bynum
Mr. Bynum has an extensive background in a wide spectrum of the energy industry, and his senior management experience ranges from upstream to midstream and public to private. In 2011, he co-founded Howard Energy Partners (“HEP”), a more than $2.5 billion enterprise value midstream company, and served as its President until May 2021 and Director until November 2021. Prior to co-founding HEP, Mr. Bynum co-founded and served as Chief Financial Officer of Hall-Houston Exploration Partners, L.L.C. from 2005 to 2011. From 1997 to 2005 he was an investment banker in Merrill Lynch’s Global Energy and Power Investment Banking Group. While at Merrill Lynch, Mr. Bynum worked with a wide range of energy clients primarily focusing on the exploration and production sector of the oil and gas industry. He served on the board of directors of Magnum Hunter Resources from 2008 to 2013 and on the board of directors of Petro Resources Corporation from 2006 to 2008.
Mr. Bynum received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Rice University.
Craig Collins
Mr. Collins was most recently a Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Western Midstream (NYSE: WES) from 2019 to 2022. Prior to re-joining Western in 2019, he held executive roles at Altus Midstream (NASDAQ: ALTM), serving as COO, and Alta Mesa Resources (NYSE: AMR) where he was VP of Midstream and VP/COO of Kingfisher Midstream. The majority of Mr. Collins’ career was at Anadarko Petroleum (NYSE: APC) where he served in various operations, engineering, commercial, corporate development and treasury roles from 2003 to 2018, finishing his tenure as VP of Midstream and SVP/COO of Western Gas Partners and Western Gas Equity Partners. He began his career as a polyethylene operations engineer at Dow Chemical from 1999 to 2001.
Mr. Collins received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Rice University.
Scott Archer
Mr. Archer was most recently a Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Howard Energy Partners (“HEP”) where he worked from June 2015 through May 2021. Scott was also a Director at HEP until November 2021. Prior to joining HEP, Mr. Archer was a Managing Director of Investment Banking for Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. (“TPH”) from 2013 through 2015. Before joining TPH, he was a Managing Director in Bank of America’s (formerly Merrill Lynch’s) Global Energy and Power Investment Banking Group where he worked for thirteen years in various roles. During his investment banking career, Mr. Archer focused on mergers and acquisitions as well as capital markets transactions in the midstream oil and natural gas sector.
Mr. Archer received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas.
Brett Braden
Mr. Braden was most recently the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for Howard Energy Partners (“HEP”) from March 2017 through May 2021. Prior to joining HEP, he was a Partner at Latham & Watkins LLP in Houston, Texas from 2010 to 2017 and was a co-founder of Latham’s Houston office. Before joining Latham, Mr. Braden was a Partner at Vinson & Elkins LLP in Houston and practiced there for ten years, and was an associate at Porter Hedges LLP in Houston for two years prior to joining Vinson & Elkins. Mr. Braden’s legal career has focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions in the midstream oil and natural gas sector. Before law school, he worked in chemical and pharmaceutical research for Hoechst Celanese at their technical center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Mr. Braden received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in 1993 and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1998.
Tyler Mason
Mr. Mason has more than 17 years of business development, origination, commercial, M&A and trading/marketing experience in the midstream and upstream sectors. Prior to joining HighPoint, Mr. Mason served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Ironwood Midstream Energy Partners, playing a leading role in commercial development activities from 2021 to 2024. Previously, he spent nearly 9 years at Howard Energy Partners (“HEP”). In his role as Vice President – Business Development at HEP, Mr. Mason was responsible for new business and commercial development efforts across multiple basins in the U.S. He began his career at Southwestern Energy in various roles of increasing responsibility, including gas marketing/trading, transportation, commercial operations, FP&A, engineering, and construction.
Mr. Mason received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University.
John Lighty
Mr. Lighty has over a decade of progressive experience in strategic finance and M&A. Prior to joining HighPoint, Mr. Lighty held a similar role as Director of Commercial Finance and M&A at Howard Energy Partners (“HEP”), where he worked from 2017 to 2023. During his tenure at HEP, he played a key role in multiple high-profile transactions, including M&A, capital markets activities, and organic growth initiatives, significantly contributing to the company’s strategic direction. From 2012 to 2017, he held various portfolio management and investment roles, most recently with Bank of America (NYSE: BAC).
Mr. Lighty received a Bachelor of Science in Economics with Financial Applications from Southern Methodist University and Masters of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University.
Lezlie Cramer
Ms. Cramer has an extensive background in providing high-level support to C-suite executives, and her experience includes managing start-up office operations in both the energy and healthcare industries. Ms. Cramer builds value for the business by supporting executives in such a way that they can more effectively perform their jobs.
Most recently, Ms. Cramer served as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of Howard Energy Partners (“HEP”) from 2011 to 2021. Prior to HEP, she supported the President/CEO of Clear Springs Energy Company, the CEO and CFO of MeadowBrook Specialty Hospital, and the Gas Supply Manager and Regional Attorney of Delhi Gas Pipeline Corporation.
Ms. Cramer attended Louisiana State University and is commissioned as a Notary Public in the state of Texas.
